As Senior Project Manager you will advise and support high-profile public and private sector clients with their building services (M&E) and facilities (FM) projects, from providing commercial, technical, design and project planning expertise, to appointing and monitoring the principal contractors delivering capital plant replacements, critical infrastructure upgrades, lifecycle works, fit outs and refurbishments etc

Responsibilities

* Build relationships with clients and contractors as part of the project team.

* Attend meetings with the design team, contractors and clients.

* Review of designs to ensure compliance to specification.

* Review, assess and monitor the principal contractor.

* Offer commercial input to the procurement team.

* On site review and monitoring of building services installation to ensure contract compliance.

* Ensure health and safety policies are adhered during project duration.

Requirements

* Recognised qualifications in Mechanical or Electrical Building Services Engineering, Construction, or Facilities Management related discipline

* Project leadership experience and a track record with M&E installation

* Strong Mechanical and Electrical technical knowledge

* Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills

* Knowledge and skills to effectively problem solve

* High level of self-motivation, organisational ability and drive to meet deadlines

* Proven financial management track record with commercial aptitude and negotiation skills.

* Knowledge of health and safety, ideally IOSH or NEBOSH qualified
