Senior Process Technician
Based in Surrey

Salary: £33,600 – £36,000

Hours of Work: – 8am-5pm Monday to Friday (these hrs may change In accordance with the current working patterns)

Main Purpose of Job:
To control the machinery and tooling within the manufacturing unit of this leading plastics manufacturer to ensure the optimum efficiency of machines and tooling to the required standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• To change tools as required to ensure the optimum efficiency of the Machines to the required standards.
• To conduct in-process troubleshooting on machines.
• To conduct in-process troubleshooting on tooling.
• To assist in maintaining all machines, tooling and equipment to the required standard at all times.
• To report accurately all tool and machine faults to the relevant departments.
• To assist in the day to day operation of the manufacturing unit.
• To observe all Health & Safety regulations relevant to the machinery and process within the manufacturing unit, including the wearing of suitable protective equipment provided by the company.
• To supervise the setting staff to ensure that they work to their job description and that they work in a safe and efficient manner.
• To conduct tool & material trials and report findings and recommendations.
• To ensure that all tooling & machinery is cleaned to the designated time schedules.
• To train other technical & supervisory staff as and when required.
• Any other such duties as may be designated from time to time to service the needs of the department and company.
