PROCESS MANAGER – CLAY/CERAMICS SPECIALIST

SALARY UP TO £54,000 + PENSION + BONUS + HEALTH CARE

Our client, a global supplier of manufactured building products, is looking to enhance their technical knowledge of clay processing by recruiting a specialist Process Manager.

Based at their site in Staffordshire, the successful Process Manager will work with Production, Engineering and CI teams to address technical issues and leading strategies to improve efficiency.

Responsibilities:

* Act as technical/process expert across multiple process lines
* Managing workload for a small team of engineers and labourers, dealing with personnel issues
* Identifying areas for concern and improvement in product formulations and associated manufacturing processes
* Working with Engineering and Production teams to improve maintenance systems

Key requirements:

* Minimum degree qualification in Clay/Ceramics
* Experience working in a clay processing environment
* An excellent communicator – written, verbal and IT skills
* Health and Safety in a manufacturing environment qualification

This is an out-and-out specialist role, the right person will thrive in this environment and will be a driving force behind some exciting projects. We are looking for candidates with in-depth knowledge of the processes behind clay manufacturing, to be able to apply that knowledge to improve production.
