Senior Operator

Salary: £33,600 per year

Team4You are recruiting for a permanent Senior Operator who will ensure the designated machines are operated and run in accordance with the required production schedule for a bespoke production company.

With a £33,600salary the successful candidate will ensure the Injection Moulding machines are set to optimum conditions to produce quality components.

Job Responsibilities

* To execute colour, insert, printer and mould changes according to production plans

* To perform quality material tests (MFI) on a regular basis

* To implement corrective actions when quality issues are reported

* To organise cover for breaks and in-operation with Machine Operators

* To achieve low scrap rates, high productivity rates and minimal change over wastage

* To ensure detailed and correct documentation and recordings are carried out

* To provide production lines with the materials required for Machine Operators to complete the product

* To ensure good housekeeping is maintained on shop floor and product storage areas

* To ensure correct data records are documented in the production sheets. To highlight/report any discrepancies to the Shift Leader

* To ensure the correct loading/unloading of recycling material and new material deliveries

* To maintain good working order of PPE provided and adhere to Health and Safety rules as notified

* To undertake any other responsibilities required to support the operations by those managing/supervising

Previous experience is advantageous

Shift pattern – 12 hours

Days: 07:00 – 19:00

Nights: 19:00 – 07:00

£33,600 per annum
