Senior Operations Analyst
Job Description
People’s Partnership have an exciting opportunity to join our growing team as a Senior Operations Analyst.
This role is a hybrid opportunity with the successful candidate working both at home and in the office.
Main Purpose:
To provide specialist technical support within Investment Operations of the Investment team.
The Senior Operations Analyst is a newly created role reporting directly into the Investment Operations Manager.
Skills & Experience:
Essential
· At least 5 years’ experience working within the financial industry.
· Experience of working in an investment or pension environment.
· Demonstrable understanding of the financial markets.
· Advanced VBA or macros excel skills.
· Strong interpersonal relationship-building skills
· Behavior and attitude; can set pace and maintain momentum in a fast-moving environment.
· Proven ability to explain detailed and/or complicated investment information in simple, everyday language.
· Experience of working with and supporting relationship management and distribution channels on investment matters.
· Experience of Fund Fact Sheet production and investment reporting
· Oversight, monitoring and measurement of fund performance.
· A clear understanding of composite indices.
Desirable
· Proven ability and willingness to learn and understand the technical detail around investments.
· A good understanding of the regulatory and legal environment.
· Data analysis and manipulation.
· Good working knowledge of the investment industry.
· An understanding of unitized funds and reporting regulations.
· Self-motivated, disciplined and organized.
· Expert skills in Excel.
· Sound planning and organizing skills.
· Knowledge and understanding of the DC pensions market.
· IMC or equivalent industry qualification
