Salary: £60,000 per year

Qualification: Level 6 or equivalent, Montessori is a bonus

We are looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Manager who is ready & looking for the next stage in their career. We have a vacancy for a Principal over two beautiful and newly refurbished nursery schools in the heart of the city (Islington).

The two settings are established with teams and a Nursery Manager at each. This role as Principal is for someone who can steer and drive the nursery in setting and achieving strategic and operational objectives.

Person Specification

* Have at least 5 years’ experience as a manager

* Live within a 30-minute commute

* The successful candidate must have a proven track record in Nursery Management and with strong leadership skills

* Be qualified minimum Level 6 in Childcare or equivalent (Montessori is a bonus)

Job Description

* To achieve and maintain high standards of care and education

* To effectively lead and manage the staff team including recruitment and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff and retention, providing day to day guidance, training and support to all staff

* To ensure all policies, procedures and curriculums are always implemented and adhered to

* To keep abreast of current early childhood thinking/trends

* To effectively manage the budgets and occupancy levels

* To implement an effective parent liaison program, to be influential in developing strong links with parents

* To manage all day-to-day operations of the nursery

Salary

Starting form £60,000 per annum
