Senior Mass Spectrometry Service Engineer

Our client is seeking an experienced Mass Spec service engineer to join their field service team.

Home based, you will provide service, maintenance and support to customers throughout the UK & occasionally Ireland, either via phone/email or on-site visits. You will carry out routine maintenance, emergency repairs and general support on Sciex products, other mass spectrometers and associated equipment.

You will also make a key contribution to the success of the Mass Spec service team and business by providing technical training and developing the company’s wider capabilities including the company’s MS lab and equipment inventory.

To be considered for this role you must have experience in the service & maintenance of Sciex mass spectrometry equipment from either an instrument vendor, 3rd party service company or a super user in a laboratory setting. You must also be proactive and hardworking, and have excellent communication and customer service skills.
