Job Description

A Senior Management Accountant is sought by a rapidly growing live entertainment business who are seeking to expand internationally whilst still growing their domestic business. They have developed various cutting edge creative & technological innovations to enhance audience experience and are poised to see record ticket sales again in 2024. This is therefore an excellent time to join such an exciting entertainment business.

The Senior Management Accountant is a newly created position; it will report into the Financial Controller and help oversee a small team. The role is particularly varied and will see the postholder:

  • Play a key role in the month-end reporting process, perform monthly routines, run month end reports, provide commentary and present final reporting to the FC and CFO.
  • Support Food & Beverage / Merchandise partners; provide financial analysis and enhance reporting.
  • Aid budget holders with their queries; assist department heads during the budgeting process.
  • Assist with the year-end audit; be the contact for Food & Beverage and Merchandise partner audits.
  • Own cash flow reporting & forecasting, daily banking, cash allocation and account reconciliations.
  • Oversee the weekly billing cycle of ticketing partners and the weekly payment run to suppliers.
  • Work on a broad range of ad hoc projects e.g. a systems implementation and investment appraisal.

The ideal candidate for the position of Senior Management Accountant will:

  • Be a fully qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA), ideally with at least 2 years’ PQE.
  • Possess all-round management & financial reporting experience including finalising accounts.
  • Have a passion for working in a start-up environment where processes need to be established.
  • Be a curious, outgoing, natural communicator who enjoys working with non-finance managers.
  • Thrive in a busy, fast-paced role with operational and financial challenges plenty.

Salary: £60000 – £65000 + 10% bonus + benefits.
