Senior Light Rapid Transit (Lrt) Engineer

A World leading consultancy is looking to recruit a Senior light rapid transit (LRT) engineer.

Job Description Reporting to the associate/divisional director the role carries a high degree of autonomy. The senior engineer will be responsible for managing discrete design packages and multi-disciplinary design teams, controlling task budgets and assisting senior project managers on major schemes and with business development. Motivation and performance of junior staff are also integral parts of the role.
Candidate Specification – Will be experienced in leading small design teams.
– Chartered engineer.
– Confident in their technical ability and in client facing roles.
– Must be able to demonstrate a track record in people skills and commercial awareness, with some business development.
-Will have the ability to interpret client requirements to produce a sound engineering proposal taking due cognisance of costs.
– Appreciation of auto-computer aided design (autoCAD) and either MX, microstation or 3D civils; as these packages are used daily by our CAD/technicians.
– Will have been involved in projects from assessing feasibility, concept design and detailed design.
– Confident communicator with good verbal and written skills.
