Location: London – Old Street / Tech City
Salary: £60,000 – £66,000Basic (Depending on experience) + Bonus

We are looking for an experienced, intelligent & passionate Senior server side Java EE Web Developer to work with the current product & development team within this small, yet rapidly expanding Software Company / Web & applications development agency.

We’re passionate about the web & digital world & are looking for like-minded individuals that feel the same way about the very latest Java + Tech developments.

We are looking for people who chew through code. Entrepreneurial types, keen learners, self-motivated, pro-actively try new tech in their spare time & in general coding Rockstars!

Often working on numerous development projects as a lead with your fellow developers, front-end developers & the Project Managers, you will need to possess a strong desire to put together top notch Java code for very modern Java based Web Applications & interactive socially enabled responsive web sites.

As you may have guessed, this is far from a large, corporate environment. The use of open source & emerging web technologies / frameworks are actively encouraged.

We are looking for (mainly):

– 4+ year’s commercial experience in Java EE server side coding.
– Senior / Lead experience & the ability to interface with clients.
– Experience in common web development & Java frameworks: Spring (Web Flow, Security, MVC etc) Hibernate, JAX-WS etc.
– Knowledge of Linux, Git, MySQL, Tomcat, Apache, SSH are all beneficial
– Scala, Ruby, Python – you name it & we can use it!
– You will want to go for a pint with the team after work.
