75% home based/ 25% office based
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join this busy PMO with our client based in Kingston, South West London. Due to portfolio and project demands our client is looking to bring to the team an experienced IT Project Manager with experience managing Infrastructure and Applications projects end 2 ends with proven experience working with Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
Boasting the opportunity to work as part of this fantastic team of projects and programmes professionals, you will bring your experience with the following role
* Lead and manage the full project lifecycle, typically managing 3-5 smaller £ projects at any one time
* Report into the Programme Management team and Head of IT Portfolio regarding project points
* Stakeholder engagement – both internal and external
* Produce high quality project collateral and be familiar with project governance
* Budgetary and project reporting responsibility
* Work with the wider IT Services Department
* Requirement’s definition
* Provide reports and management information
Core skills and experience:
* Proven experience working as an IT Project Manager, ideally managing infrastructure projects
* Proven ability to successfully manage multiple projects at any one time
* Agile experience
* Waterfall experience
* Project Management certified advantageous (e.g PMP, AGILE, Prince2)
* Excellent communication – able to translate the technical piece for senior stakeholders and c-level
* Able to bring a proactive approach to your work – though a large organisation the IT PMO is small therefore must be able to get stuck in!
* Self-motivated
