Senior IT Infrastructure Engineer

My client, a prestigious Financial Services organisation based in Warrington, is looking for a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join their highly successful team. My client is an extremely well reputed organisation with a strong customer base and track record – this is a fantastic opportunity to join a leading company at a time when you can have a significant influence on infrastructure technologies moving forward.

This new role will take the lead in supporting and utilising the various applications recently introduced as well as looking to the future and assisting in providing direction on the best new technologies to support the changing Business requirements. The successful IT Infrastructure Specialist will be technically hands on, very customer focused, have excellent communication skills and have a strategic outlook necessary to help build and develop an IT department. You will need commercial experience of the latest Microsoft products, applications and systems as well as a good understanding of networking technologies and web infrastructure. You will need to have a pro-active attitude when it comes to working effectively across a number of different functions.

– Microsoft Windows Server 2008
– Windows XP/7
– VMWare
– Exchange 2007
– Web Hosting
– IIS
– Apache
– Sharepoint

Desirable Skills:

– Microsoft Windows Server 2012
– Exchange 2010/2013
– MCITP/MCSE/MCP/MCSA
– VCP
– ITIL
– Experience within the Financial Services industry
