Senior HR Generalist

Job Description
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive and well established local firm based in Stamford.

We need a highly organised and experienced HR generalist to ensure key business objectives are achieved.

Working within a team, the ideal candidate will be able to drive cultural change and create a high performing working environment.

The Senior HR Generalist will oversee all aspects of human resources and serve as a supervisor to members of the human resources department.

Duties include recruiting, training, dismissing and retaining employees; developing compensation and benefit packages; organising and approving employee leave requests and solving major human resource problems such as dispute resolution, work safety, harassment or legal issues.

Person Specifications
Able to build strong and effective working relationships with employees
Strong HR Generalist experience within a manufacturing background
Up to date knowledge of employment law – including employment tribunals
Significant experience of handling investigations and developing HR policy and procedure
Experience in union negotiations and annual pay bargaining
Must be CIPD qualified
Business degree preferred
