Salary: £38,400 – £54,000 per year
Exciting opportunity to join a leading GLP environmental testing laboratory as a Senior Analyst in the Gas Chromatography section!
Working as a Senior Analyst you will utilise your experience and knowledge to:
- Undertake organic testing on environmental samples & report results
- Operate, maintain and troubleshooting the Gas Chromatography instruments (GC-MS, GC-FID)
- Sample extraction and preparation
- Supervise and train junior staff within the team
The successful candidate will have:
- BSc in Chemistry or related subject
- >3 years’ experience with GC-MS systems in a regulated environment
- >1 years’ experience working in a GLP environment
- Experience of sample preparation techniques (LLE, SPE, etc)
- Positive attitude and attention to detail
