A new role has been created to join the Financial Planning & Analysis team, reporting directly to the Head of FP&A. The role will assist the team with the production of the Groupโs three year business plan, budget and rolling forecast; together with analysis and reporting to senior management to support decision making.
We are looking for an individual with a proactive approach, strong thought leadership and critical mindset, with the ability to work independently, to challenge, and who can build strong relationships and communicate well across the team and the wider business.
Key roles and responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of the Group budget and reforecasting process, collaborating with product owners and cost centre managers
- Support the Groupโs annual business planning process and the development and evolution of the three year business plan
- Draft reports to the Board and senior management
- Research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions
- Ad hoc analysis to support decision making in the business, producing reports and projections based on the analysis conducted
- Appraise potential acquisitions
- Develop simple financial models that address complex issues
What weโre looking for
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified accountant (minimum of 5 years PQE in FP&A, or in a comparable role)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Powerpoint at an advanced level)
- Power BI knowledge desirable but not essential
- Strong mathematical, financial analysis and critical thinking skills
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with all levels within the organisation
- Awareness of macroeconomic variables and how they impact business performance
- Ability to simplify the complex
Qualifications
