Salary: £60,000 – £66,000 per year

A well respected Managing Agent has an exciting new position for a Senior Facilities Manager based in London paying £60,000 – £66,000 + competitive package

The successful candidate will lead a regional team of Facilities Managers in the strategic management of a designated portfolio of properties.

They will coordinate the FM delivery of their assigned team ensuring full compliance, accurate record keeping and a proactive service provision.

Facilities Management:

1. Undertake direct management of a proportion of your designated portfolio.
2. To liaise with surveyors, clients, contractors and tenants on a regular basis ensuring excellent service is provided to all clients.
3. Provide effective resolution of day to day issues.
4. Ensure accurate records are kept in relation to your portfolio, including up to date recording of FM activity on any relevant systems.
5. Undertake regular site visits and inspections, and ensure any risks are identified and resolved effectively within necessary timescales.
6. Ensure full compliance is maintained across all sites.
7. Produce all service charge budgets for the sites within your remit in conjunction with clients, tenants and surveyors.
8. Develop an effective working relationship with the wider Property Management and FM teams to provide an exceptional combined service.
9. Work effectively with external consultants to ensure efficiency is achieved against set KPIs using standardised terms and whilst maintaining compliance.

Team Leadership

1. To continually strive to improve working practices and client service delivery by reviewing and developing processes and identifying opportunities to create efficiencies within existing work structures.
2. Support the Regional Facilities manager by acting as an escalation point and mentor to the FM team. Provide support to, and aid the development of, team members.
3. Be responsible for the implementation of agreed best practice FM in all areas including accounting practice, communication, procurement and compliance.
4. Provide advice and guidance to clients and surveyors on the effective facilities management of assets.
5. Act as the FM representative when pitching for new business and identify new business opportunities.
6. Take responsibility for the management of FM audits and ensure compliance is consistently maintained.

Technical Skills

• Proven knowledge and experience of application of statutory legislation.
• Able to demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of sustainability procedures and best practice
• MIOSH qualification desired but not essential
• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role
• Minimum 5 years experience in a facilities management role
• Experience of strategic management of portfolios of 10-20+ buildings
• Proven track record in resolution of day to day FM issues and in building strong client relationships
• Computer Literacy; Microsoft Office,
• Proven knowledge of FM- Administration / Building Fabric / Mechanical & Electrical services / Health & Safety / Finance / Disaster management
