An Award Winning design and manufacturing engineering specialist company based in Belfast have a new opening position and they are now seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join the hugely successful business on a permanent basis.
The salary on offer is £48,000 – £72,000per annum, depending on expereince.
Role: As the successful Senior Embedded Software Engineer you will be responsible for providing technical lead for the architecture, concept design, implementation, reviews, and test/design of embedded software system.
Senior Embedded Software Engineer key skills:
3-5+ years industry experience
Embedded Software Programming in C, C++
Bare-metal to RTOS experience
Strong knowledge and experience of the automotive environment and ECU development
Industrial communication – SPI, I2C, USB, UART, Ethernet, Modbus, TCP/IP, CAN, CAN-FD, Flexray, UDS, OBD, J1939
Version Control – SVN, GIT, JIRA
Consumer, Industrial products, Automotive and Medical Industrial experience is also beneficial
Desirable nice to have skills:
Experience of software development to AUTOSAR and MISRA C coding standards and guidelines
Electronic Design: Analogue & Digital
Design / Modelling experience (For example: UML, Matlab, Simulink, Rhapsody or Targetlink)
Knowledge of CMMI, SPICE & ASPICE process frameworks
