Salary: £26,000 – £30,000 per year
An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Ecologist to join an expanding team within a West Midlands based design practice. Our client is an award winning provider of environmental consultancy, and is in the market for a Senior Ecologist to help manage an expanding team and ecological workload.
Suitable candidates will be tasked with completing a range of on-site surveys including:
*Phase 1 & Extended Phase 1 Habitat surveys
*Ornithological surveys (Breeding Bird and Vantage Point)
*Reptile surveys
*Bat surveys
*GCN surveys (GCN licence required)
Further duties will include line management and business development.
Our client is interested in receiving applications from ecologists with a strong consultancy background in ecology. This will include the ability to conduct a variety of field surveys and write high quality technical reports on findings. A GCN licence is essential, coupled with a CIEEM membership and full UK driving licence. Strong man management and team leadership qualities are essential.
