Senior Credit Controller – Bilingual

ASSISTANT CREDIT MANAGER/SENIOR CREDIT CONTROLLER required for a renowned media business based in Camden. This is a great chance to join this business as they go through an exciting period of growth. Suitable candidates will be fluent in another European language.

MAIN AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Reporting directly to the Credit Manager
All aspects of credit control including chasing live accounts on a daily basis, via telephone, letter, fax and e-mail
Building and maintaining relationships with clients. Understanding their operation and determining how best to ensure payment terms are met; with realisation thereof
Building and maintaining relationships with sales Managers and operational staff. Regular meetings and telephone/email liaison with same; to ensure accounts are maintained to the optimum
Maintaining an efficient system of debt chasing, recording and responding to customer queries
Resolving invoice and billings issues and referring internally as required for timely resolution
Ensuring that client payments are correctly allocated
Ensuring that clients adhere to the payment terms and conditions within their contracts
Formal monthly debt review with sales manager, operational staff and credit manager
Daily Treasury report completion
Such other duties that are required from time to time in order to ensure the smooth running of the department
Ensuring withholding tax is correctly accounted for and certificates received by clients

POTENTIAL CANDIDATE CRITERIA

Credit control experience
To have experience of multi-currency work
Fluency in English and one other European language

SALARY & BENEFITS

Salary: £33,600 – £36,000
