Senior Credit Controller £ Hemel Hempstead
* Reporting to the Financial Controller
* Responsible for the daily activities of the Credit Control function for EMEA for approximately 800 accounts, including but not limited to, daily banking and cash allocation, reconciliation, reporting to sales, setting up new customers, obtaining credit limits, monitoring risk, chasing debt, clearing accounts and releasing orders.
* Working with the sales team to facilitate sales as expediently as possible within SOP, time being of the essence.
* Responsible for managing and developing one member of staff
* Responsible for safeguarding against unnecessary risk, strictly adhering to SOP.
* Responsible for managing credit insurance and other AR securities to mitigate any risk of loss.
* Responsible for seeking credit reports for new and current customers to assess financial worthiness for credit facilities.
* Clearing credit notes
* Preparation of accurate monthly/weekly reports for local and overseas HQ.
* Assisting Financial Controller, CFO and other members of the Finance team as required
Candidate Specification
Qualifications / Experience
* Preferably CICM Part/Newly Qualified
* Strong spreadsheet skills
* Commercially astute
* ERP experience
* Previous experience in a similar position
