Hours: Monday – Thursday 08:30 – 17:15, Friday 16:15 finish

Responsible to: Purchasing Manager

Job Purpose:

The efficient and effective completion of the stock control daily workload, ensuring all responsibilities are managed to a good standard.

Duties and Responsibilities – Stock Control & Purchasing

· Follow company systems and procedures for stock control and management using Microsoft AX / D365.

· Placing and managing Purchase Orders for stock, consumables and special items as required, including liaising with suppliers.

· Placing and managing orders for the Maintenance and Cleaning Depts as required, including liaising with suppliers.

· Reporting weekly and monthly balances.

· Achieve all site performance targets to agreed deadlines.

· Ensure PI checks are completed and major variances investigated as per procedures.

· Process daily stock transfers including Production items.

· General administration of stock.

· Assisting in company projects when required.

· Any other work as directed.
