Salary: £26,000 per year
Main Functions of the Position:
Working directly with clients, to provide a skilled and sensitive service which provides day-to-day personal assistance and enables the client to maintain independence. Will also supervise Carers whilst in the field.
The Field Care Supervisor is responsible for all tasks and responsibilities listed, but not limited to the following:
Business and Operational Performance:
Maintain contact with existing clients, monitoring and reporting on a daily/weekly basis.
Practical provision of care for clients with more complex care needs, including creation and updating of care plans.
Ensure that any changes to a client’s care plan are reported back to branch.
On the job support for Carers, providing guidance, training and shadowing, continuous spot checks etc.
Management of any risks to clients and staff.
Ensure regular communication is maintained between branch and Care staff.
Quality Management:
Alongside the Quality Assurance team, take an active role in setting and maintaining of quality standards and quality monitoring.
Assist the Managers in auditing the standard of service delivered to clients by conducting spot checks, undertaking client satisfaction questionnaires, attending review meetings and updating care plans as required.
People Management:
Monitoring and supervision of Carers in the field.
Working together with the Branch Recruiter, participate in the recruitment of new Carer staff, by interviewing and selecting appropriately, ensuring relevant paperwork is completed, and that all company policies and employment legislation is adhered to.
Assist with induction and training for new Carers.
In addition to the above functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.
