Senior Commercial Manager

Salary: £78,000 – £90,000 per year

Hudson Shribman are looking for a Senior Commercial Manager

* To manage the preparation and submission of commercial proposals on behalf of Chess, including the preparation of responses to contract conditions and supporting of the Request for Bid Approvals at both business unit and Cohort levels.

* To formulate and obtain approval for all agreements to be entered into by Chess as prime or subcontractor, and to enter into all contractual commitments with customers on behalf of Chess.

* On behalf of Chess, to manage the negotiations with customers of contract terms and conditions, including price and payment, leading to contract award and acceptance.

* To manage effective contract execution through the lifecycle, from the issue of internal authorisation through to contract closure.

* To provide Commercial governance within Chess in accordance with the requirements appropriate commercial policies and processes.

* To support the Supply Chain team with the drafting and negotiation of sub-contracts for both goods and services.

* To support the Business Development team with the drafting of teaming and other collaborative arrangements
