Salary: £63,600 – £69,600 per year
Our Client requires a Senior Authorised Person (SAP) with authorisation at 11kv to work on Distribution Network Operator and Private Customer Networks predominantly in the Yorkshire and North East areas. Extra High Voltage experience would be an advantage. This is a permanent position based in Yorkshire, or the North East. Ideally you will also be able to work at Extra High Voltage up to 132kv.
As an SAP you will be responsible for the maintenance, construction and commissioning of both low voltage and high voltage distribution systems along with all associated electrical hazards, precautions, and permit to work procedures. A sound understanding of schematic power distribution diagrams and cable identification/spiking procedures is essential along with fault level appreciation and parallel operation of electrical systems.
An HNC or equivalent in Electrical Engineering would be an advantage.
You must hold a current DNO Authorisation.
Salary is £63,600 – £69,600 dependant on experience. Salary package includes: 25 days holiday. Pension Scheme. Car Ownership Scheme.
