Senior Acoustic Consultant – Sheffield

My client is a well-established Acoustic Consultancy who specialise in providing noise services within the built environment; they offer a full range of services including industrial acoustics, building & architectural acoustics, and environmental noise services. They are seeking an experienced Senior Acoustician to assist in the technical development of the Acoustics team and support the existing workload.

Candidates should be experienced in BS4142 & BB93 assessments; you will also be required to have demonstrable experience providing acoustic design advice. You should be degree qualified in Acoustics or hold a post-graduate qualification such as the IOA diploma.

Duties will include acoustic surveys, input at design meetings, fee proposals, mentoring of junior level candidates, site visits, noise modelling and technical report writing. You will be influential in the development of the Acoustics team, so team management skills are essential.
