Senior Accounts Assistant – Insurance

Salary: £28,800 – £31,200 per year

Senior Assistant Accountant – Maternity cover

This insurer requires cover for a maternity contract for a period of 12-13 months.

This is broad role covering.

Processing invoices
Assisting with insurer payments including claims and premium returns
Posting journals including insurance payments and investments
Bank reconciliations and cash reporting.
Preparing management accounts for a small company
Fixed assets, prepayments, accruals and intercompany reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations
Assisting with expense budget and analysis
VAT and IPT returns

You will have demonstrable experience of double entry bookkeeping gained within an insurance business. You will need to have very strong excel skills.

Insurance experience is essential.
