SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

LOCATION: EAST YORKSHIRE

COMMENTS:
This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified practice accountant looking for their next career challenge. You will ideally have at least 3 to 5 years PQE and looking to pursue your career in a general practice environment. The ideal candidate will be looking for a role with career progression and the opportunity to progress to Partner.

COMPANY INFORMATION:

– Leading firm of well respected and established Chartered Accountants in area
– Dealing in a wide range of services from audit & assurance to corporate finance, accounts production and tax
– Have a strong training and development programme for staff

YOU MUST HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

– Strong proven track record in audit and accounts preparation from a practice environment
– Looking to pursue and grow your career in a practice environment
– Able to work as part of a team with strong communication skills
– Computer literate

IDEALLY YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

– You will be either ACA/ACCA qualified with ideally a minimum of 3 to 5 years PQE
– Experience from a decent sized practice
– Strong supervisory skills to manage a small team

ROLE INFORMATION:

– You will manage your own portfolio of clients maintaining and building strong working relationships
– Responsible for audit, corporate finance, accounts preparation with tax work as well.
– Manage a small team of qualified and part qualified staff
– Training and developing student staff
