I am exclusively working in partnership with a reputable award-winning SME company in Bristol that has been operating for over twenty-five years with a customer centric approach central to all operations in the company. The company offers market leading products and services to clients both in the UK and Europe.

Reporting directly to the Finance Business Partner, you will join a small tenured hard-working finance team with a focus on accounting, audits, and external reporting.

About the job:

* Reconcile sales & balance sheet accounts

* Uploading monthly reconciliation’s to the systems

* Bank reconciliation’s and payment management

* Prepare, post and reconcile prepayments and accruals

* Responsible for Inter-company reconciliation

* Maintain fixed asset register

* Compile and submit VAT returns

* Calculate monthly sales commissions and commission accruals

* Weekly cash-flow statement

* Raising sales invoices for recurring revenue

* New supplier review and set up

* Complete and submit OS & National statistics

* Supporting the Finance Business Partner in developing and improving finance systems and processes

* Assist in monthly and year end management/financial accounts and audit

* Ad hoc financial analysis in support of the preparation of management accounts.

About you:

* AAT Qualified, Part Qualified or Qualified ACA, CIMA or ACCA

* Advanced Excel including Pivot tables, Look-up functions

* Good knowledge of accounting principles, good understanding of financial/management information systems.

* Technically competent with finance and accounting knowledge and skills.

* Strong analytical skills and the ability to adapt to and implement change

* Ability to work flexible hours under pressure to tight timescales.
