Graduate Assistant Accountant – Cima Trainee

Sellick Partnership are excited to be supporting a successful and established business based in Crewe with the recruitment of a dynamic graduate looking for a career within finance!

The role will offer study support and development to the successful candidate, and will provide the right level of challenge in the day to day role to enable them to put their learning into practice.

Key duties will include:
– Product reconciliations
– Analysing budgets and forecasts
– Business partnering
– Assisting with forecasting the financial performance
– Assisting with production of year-end financial statements
– Other ad-hoc projects

The successful applicant will:
– Be a graduate in a related subject (finance, business studies or mathematics) and have achieved a minimum of a 2:1 classification gained either in 2016 or 2015
– Have strong A levels or equivalent qualifications, ideally As and Bs
– Be innovative tenacious and driven towards a career within management accounts
– Have strong problem solving skills and the ability to work autonomously and make key decisions
– Ideally have some relevant experience within finance
