SEN Support Assistants Required for Immediate Work

Principal Resourcing‘s dedicated SEN team are looking to appoint Support Assistants on behalf of an EBD provision in Horncastle. The centre are looking for candidates to cover both day to day and longer-term posts with an IMMEDIATE start date.

The ideal candidates will have experience supporting students with SEBD, EBD or ADHD with a good understanding and knowledge of the National Curriculum, and be dedicated to supporting students in an enthusiastic and supportive manner.

The successful candidate will need to meet the following criteria:

• Experience of working with children in the last 12 months, whether this is in an educational setting or child focused experience
• Hold at least 6 months previous experience of working within a behavioural setting, in particular, students with ADHD, SEBD and EBD
• Team Teach (desirable but not essential)
• Have empathy, patience and the drive to make a difference
• Capability to manage confrontation and challenging behaviour or complex learning difficulties
• An observant and responsive approach
• A positive, energetic and enthusiastic attitude
