Semi Senior Accountant / Part Qualified Accountant

We are assisting our client with recruiting a Part Qualified Accountant/Semi Senior Accountant to work within their progressive and forward thinking practice near Cambridge. This Semi Senior Accountant job near Cambridge is suitable for an ACCA/ACA/AAT (level 3/4) part qualified accountant with at least 12 months experience working within a public practice accountancy firm.

This growing multi-office accountancy practice offers a range of Accountancy, Audit, Taxation and Business Planning services. With a reputation for advising Entrepreneurs, and Owner Managed Businesses in the main, the firm focuses on providing quality advice regarding business growth, development and other commercial issues alongside the typical compliance services. They work with a range of Industry sectors and sizes of business across Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire and Essex.

The main responsibilities for this Semi Senior Accountant job include:

– Accounts preparation for Limited companies, Sole traders, Partnerships, LLP’s & Charities
– Some Audit work
– Overseeing the work of more Junior Accountants
– Completing tax computations for both Personal and Corporate clients
– Assisting with the training and development needs of more junior accountants
– Liaison with clients and management of client files

The perfect Semi Senior Accountant will be an ACCA/ACA/AAT Part Qualified Accountant, with experience of working within a busy public practice accountancy firm. Qualities sought by the practice include creative thinking and high level communication skills.
