Semi Senior Accountant

Salary: £26,000 – £28,800 per year

A growing, privately owned Accountancy practice, located on the outskirts of Sheffield, have a full time, permanent position for an Semi-Senior Accountant. The role has become available due to business growth over the last months. 

The role will involve the following: 

• Full accounts preparation for LTD companies 
• Working directly with the accountants 
• Working with small sole-trader partnerships up to medium sized business’
• Tax compliance (Self Assessment, CT600’s…)
• Assisting with Tax/VAT returns 
• Book keeping duties to review stage 
• Payroll preparation 

You will have the following skills/experience: 

• AAT level 4 or equivalent experience within a practice 
• experience is essential = 1-2 years ideally 
• Word/Excel MS packages conversant 
• Able to integrate in to a medium sized, friendly team
