Self-employed Helpline Telephone Counsellors
Location: Remote/Home based in UK
Profile: Self-employed opportunities
Hourly rate: £18 per hour
Hours: Monday – Sunday various 6-hour shifts will be offered for 1 month in advance allowing a flexible working pattern and the flexibility to accept or refuse work based on your availability.
Monday -Sunday – Home based ideally able to fulfil minimum of two 6-hour shifts per week.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Telephone Helpline counselling highly desirable
- EAP Counselling experience highly desirable
- BACP Full Accreditation or UKCP Full Registration or NCS Professional Accreditation desirable.
- Candidates with counselling helpline experience and working towards accreditation also welcome with minimum of 400 plus client hours.
- Appropriate Insurances required
- Own laptop and mobile to access company web portal.
The self-employed EAP Helpline Telephone Counsellor will provide in the moment support for a variety of adult clients with access to EAP services. This is a directive and dynamic role that involves handling inbound phone calls, offering in the moment support, referral and producing and recording case notes.
Please note that due to the nature of the organisation’s business, the successful candidate will need to have a current DBS screen and own insurance.
