Salary: £26,000 per year

Pertemps are currently recruiting for a support roll, for the delivery of Christmas Vetting within a centralised recruitment service, working to an agreed service standard to process Christmas casual candidate vetting checks ensuring all legislative standards are met.

Main Duties:-

• Effectively deliver all parts of the Security Vetting end to end process.
• Prioritise own workload and support the team to meet deliverables and timescales.
• Check and prepare candidate’s personal data for security vetting checks.
• Update candidate security vetting results quickly and accurately on the Master Log
• Prepare and issue correspondence to line managers, candidates and other relevant parties.
• Understand and operate HR Services and processes and policies as they apply to the job and provide advice and decision support to the customer.
• Deal with all telephone, letter, face to face and email queries, complaints and appeals adhering to the responsiveness policy.
• Work closely with and assist the Christmas Central Team and the Regional Christmas Co-Ordinators to resolve any queries quickly and efficiently.
• Assist the Christmas Central Team when required to compliance check the successful Christmas Casual packs ensuring all legislative requirements are met.
• Understand key SLA’s within own process areas and ensure that all activity meets the required standards
• Assist the Christmas Project Team with outbound telephony calls to Christmas Casuals to arrange advancements if / when required.

Key Skills and Experience:-

• Flexible approach to working hours to meet business needs.
• An organised administrator with excellent keyboard accuracy and an eye for detail.
• Previous experience of repetitive data entry is essential.
• Experience of both outbound and inbound telephony calls.
• PC skills associated primarily with Microsoft Office Suite – Microsoft Excel is essential.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills.
• Be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Must be able to deal with a repetitive high volume workload.
• Must be able to identify errors and make quick decisions.
• Capability to learn new processes and systems quickly.
• Excellent communication skills.
