Salary: £26,000 – £32,760 per year
We are currently looking for a Security Officer to work in the Gatehouse Reception for our client in the Barnsley S75 area.
The position is to start as soon as possible and will be on-going.
The ideal candidate must:
• Undertake patrols and inspections of the yard
• Taking and storing keys from driver s when they leave them at the gatehouse
• Signing in/ out drivers on attendance
• Keeping an overall check on the yard and distribution centre
• General security work which could include writing incident reports
• Basic gatehouse administration work
• Ensure site procedures and health and safety rules are followed
• Computer literate
• Confident and able communicator
• Calm and controlled under pressure
• Enthusiastic and motived
• Own transport is preferred but not essential
• Experience in a similar role is desired
• Smart and professional appearance as you are representing our client
THE SUITABLE CANDIDATE MUST HAVE A VALID SIA LICENSE
The salary for the position is between £26,000 – £32,760per year depending on shift and day you work
We have a day and a night shift available for the right candidate
