My client is an independent, multi-disciplined service provider. They support the industrial, infrastructure, commercial and service sectors with a unique range of contracting and rotating machine services as well as developing and providing support products offered through the group.

The Role…

They have an opportunity for a Security Systems Engineer to join their expanding team.

Responsibilities…

Competent to work directly from drawings and scopes of work

Installing, servicing, and commissioning security systems and obstacles

Providing certification for installed and serviced systems to comply with relevant British Standards

Managing your own diary to ensure allocated work is completed on time

Responding to out of hours calls, whilst covering on call duty

Willing to work away from home when required

Keen to fulfil customer’s requirements involving overtime when required

The successful applicant will possess:

Proven experience as a Security Systems Engineer, with a strong track record in the following:

• Intruder Detection Systems
• PIDS
• IP Video Surveillance (CCTV)
• Access Control (Nedap Experience Preferable)
• Electric Gates
• Automated Barriers
• Turnstiles

18th Edition

Full UK Driving Licence

Good communication, both verbal and written

Able to work under your own initiative, as well as within teams

Enthusiastic and knowledgeable

Experienced in undertaking preventative and corrective maintenance and reporting

Be able to demonstrate leadership approach to health, safety, and environmental obligations

Remuneration

Based on 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday they offer a very competitive salary.
