Cordant Security is currently seeking a Distribution Security Officer to join our team in the Shaw, Oldham (OL2) area.

Job Overview:

You will ensure the safety and security of people, premises and property.

Principle Accountabilities:

* Acting as a visual deterrent
* Access & Egress control
* Random staff searches
* Patrols of the inside and outside of premises
* CCTV monitoring
* Gatehouse & reception duties

Requirements:

* Frontline Security Guarding, Door Supervision or Close Protection SIA licence (or have passed the relevant SIA training and hold valid certificates).
* Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history; including full company names, addresses and landline contact numbers.
* A full UK driving licence is beneficial due to the sites you may be asked to cover
* Clear communication both written and verbal
* Excellent communication & administration skills
* Must be punctual and have the ability to think in their feet
* Experience of working on distribution sites would be advantageous

In return we offer:

* £26,000 per year.
* Working on a rolling roster covering 3 early shifts 07:30 – 16:30, 3 late shifts 15:30 – 00:30 followed by 3 off. Applicants must be flexible.
