Overview

You will manage a sector operational team comprising of Operations Managers/Account Managers/Shift Operations Managers, resulting in the delivery of excellent service to the client base at all levels of customer contact.

As Sector Manager you will be responsible for the quality of all customer care and contact within our “Defence Sector” accounts. You will provide exceptional support to the Sector Director in all aspects of service delivery to meet the company’s contractual obligations to clients.

Responsibilities

• Effectively manage and develop a team of Operations Managers by sound leadership and motivation and identify potential for future development.

• Have a good understanding of the Sector P and L.

• Establish and maintain client contact and liaison with all clients in the sector to forge strong working relationships, ensuring that contractual commitments are met and service delivery maximised developing a strong sense of trust and commitment.

• Develop, monitor and enhance Service Level Agreements and Key Performance Indicators within the contract specification and conduct monthly review meetings ensuring contractual compliance and satisfactory performance against established KPIs.

• To conduct review meetings with all the Operations Managers on a monthly basis, ensuring contractual compliance and satisfactory performance against established KPIs.

• Ensure all documentary evidence from review meetings with Operations Managers/CSMs/Account Managers/SOMs is properly recorded and presented to the Sector Director.

• Develop the security knowledge and ethos of organisation with the team and establish security excellence.

Main Accountabilities

• Regularly update the Sector Director of portfolio status and of any issues along with solutions as required.

• Participate, along with the sales team in presentations to clients in respect of selling new tenders and contract reviews and to actively pursue cross-selling opportunities.

• Deputise for the Sector Director as required.

• Have a good understanding of the disciplinary, grievance and welfare procedures and ensure issues are dealt with in a consistent manner in accordance with HR guidance and current legislation..

• Hold regular team briefing to appraise and to alert personnel of current issues and developments within the company.

• Undertake unannounced site visits to ensure that standards and procedures are maintained.

• Liase on a regular basis with all clients in the sector and establish through site visits a close working relationship in order to identify any concerns or changes in security procedures/requirements and promote Best Practice across the business.

• In addition to these functions you may be required to undertake such other duties as may be reasonably requested.

• Ensure regular meetings are held with the Clients within the Sector participating in Annual Price Reviews and Quarterly Contract Reviews.

• Have a good understanding of Health and Safety, Quality and CSR and ensure full compliance to the company’s procedures.

• Previous operational experience within the security industry
