Salary: £26,000 per year

Premises Manager – Baldock, Hertfordshire, Full or Part time options – Temp or Permanent option – ASAP start – £19,344.36 – £21,106.92

Class Education are working in partnership with a Baldock Secondary school who are looking to appoint a Premises Manager.

The school is a is a dynamic, exciting, and progressive secondary special school with an innovative and constantly evolving curriculum for boys with social, emotional, and mental health related difficulties.

They wish to appoint a Premises Manager who is a passionate, dedicated and determined member of staff who can build excellent relationships with staff and students, for April 2021 or sooner.

All pupils at this school have Education Health Care Plans but thrive in a nurturing and well-structured environment.

You will need to be resilient and ready for the challenges that they face with their students. The school value their staff and being part of a cohesive team is essential for them, as they are a small and friendly school.

All staff are trained in the use of Hertfordshire Steps as a behaviour management system and there are several staff incentive programmes that recognise and support our dedicated staff, including:

* Varied CPD opportunities that enhance knowledge and skills.

* Staff well-being scheme and support for further training,

* Excellent ICT provision,

* Free Medicash membership. This equates to cash back for various routine medical appointments such as eye tests and dentistry etc. as well as a range of discounts in many shops. Staff can opt to add family members and children whilst in full time study are included for free.

The right person for this school and this role would need to have a positive attitude as this is the key driver, rather than your background and formal qualifications. If you do not have experience of working in special needs, please note that this is not a disadvantage.

The initial contract would be for a fixed term, with great potential for a permanent position.

Working hours – 37 hours per week

Ideally 52 weeks per annum, with annual leave entitlement.

However, we would consider the option of term time plus several additional weeks per annum for the successful candidate.

£26,000gross per year (Actual salary will be pro rata depending on final agreed working weeks pa, and experience level of the successful candidate)

or sooner if possible.
