Shift Pattern: Monday-Friday:8am-4pm Full time

Must have a clean DBS/CRB Certificate

Taskmaster Resources are looking to recruit a Kitchen Assistant to work in the Bradford area ASAP. We require a Kitchen Assistant to support the catering team with the cleaning, storage and stock control, deliveries and preperation of food in the school.

Responsibilities:

Checking and unloading deliveries for the kitchen.
Organising the storerooms; rotating stock, keeping store rooms and fridges / freezers clean at all times
Ensuring that kitchen equipment is properly and safely stowed.
Ensuring that all kitchen equipment like food mixers, fridges and cookers are clean and in good clean working order.
Reporting any faulty equipment to the Chef Manager or Senior Sous Chef and then arranging for repair.
Taking care of the kitchen laundry.
Assisting the Chef Manager with the preparation of salad and vegetable items.
Washing up kitchen equipment and tableware.
Setting out and putting away dining furniture where required by the organisation.
Cleaning outside the kitchen area, including drains and the dustbin area.
Ensuring high standards of personal hygiene, kitchen hygiene in the preparation and service of food, and cleanliness of equipment and premises.
Removal of Kitchen and Food waste to the Skips regularly keeping the Bin Container Truck consistently clean.
This position forms part of the small team responsible for the effective the closing down of our Kitchen and associated areas.Benefits:
