School Finance Manager – One Year Contract

Salary: £90,000 – £102,000 per year

This secondary academy, part of a medium size multi academy Trust, is seeking a competent Finance Manager for a one year fixed term contract, to cover maternity.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will manage one Finance Officer and be the lead on all areas of reporting financial and management information. You will be responsible for day to day accounting transactions such as bookkeeping, invoicing and sales and the production of monthly management accounts, compiling robust financial reports for the Trust Finance Director for month end reporting.

To ensure all transactions are completed within strict timescales and advising staff on budget management and expenditure. This is a fast paced environment and you will be expected to make an immediate impact. A working knowledge of PS Financials is essential for this role and previous experience of working in a school or education setting is highly desirable.
