Location: East Dorset
Salary: up to £25k DOE
Hours: 8am-5pm Mon-Fri
Benefits: 22 days + Bank Hols, Pension, Employee assist programme.
Aspire Jobs are delighted to be working with our client who are a well-established family run business and who are now looking for an additional member of staff to join their small, hard-working team.
They are looking for a Scheduling Administrator to join their team with the successful candidate being able to demonstrate strong administrative skills. It is more important that you have excellent MS skills, you are proactive can multitask and willing to get stuck in.
With a large workshop, they predominantly offer Heavy goods vehicle servicing and maintenance although they do also offer light good vehicle service and M.O.T’s. The Scheduling Administrator will be working in a very fast paced environment and working within a Team of 3 people.
The successful Scheduling Administrator will: –

- Have some knowledge of the motor vehicle industry – desirable but not essential.

Job duties
- Reporting to your line manager, providing regular updates of the scheduled work
- Regularly liaising throughout the day to the Engineers on all things direct relation to work in progress
- Work with a Team of engineers for continuity for customers and engineers’ communication
- Ensure all engineers paperwork is handed in on completion of the jobs
- Consistent communication with the customers throughout the jobs being work in progress
- Scheduling planned work for the Team of Engineers
- Forward planning any jobs that roll over and booking in engineers next job when nearing completion
- Ordering in and invoicing out parts
- Booking parts to jobs and issuing parts to the technicians
- Assisting with the process of warranty claims
- Processing engineers reports from write up through to account invoice
- Updating spreadsheets/logs of outstanding purchase order numbers
- Dealing with telephone and email enquiries.
