Full job description
Staff for Education are currently recruiting for a DT Teacher for a fantastic Secondary School in Chesterfield to start in February 2024. The position is full time and will be until the end of the academic year at least.
As a DT Teacher at this school, you will be responsible for teaching both KS3 and KS4 students. Main responsibilities will include:
• Planning and delivering innovative DT Lessons
• Managing student behaviour
• Assessing and monitoring students’ progress and giving regular feedback
• Creating a positive learning environment
• Working as part of a team within the department
In order to be considered for the position, you must have QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification. You must also hold a DBS Certificate on the Online Update Service or be willing to apply for an enhanced DBS.
