My client currently has an exciting opportunity for a repairs and Maintenance Scheduler to join their team on a permanent basis. My client is a large construction, maintenance company. They provide a maintenance and repairs service on a number of contracts with Housing Associations across the London area.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for the efficient scheduling of Maintenance Operatives and Sub-Contractors, to ensure customer satisfaction and to comply with KPIs.
The key responsibilities will be to:
*Liaise closely with client Call Centre staff, assisting with scheduling difficulties when necessary.
*Plan works for both Operatives and sub-contractors, issuing works to PDA’s. Agree appointments with residents when scheduling works.
*Ensure tasks are completed within the required time frame, and future appointments are not missed.
*Ensure all tasks have been attended and have a completion status at the end of each working day.
*Ensure trade skill sets and location parameters are working effectively.
*Ensure that paired working, second visits, and “locked” tasks such as evictions are effectively scheduled and attended on time.
The ideal candidate will have:
*Excellent communication skills
*Strong administrative skills, ideally within social housing repairs or maintenance. Experience as a Scheduler would be extremely beneficial
*Ability to work in a fast paced environment
