Sustainability Advisor
Essex
£20k – £25k + Benefits

My client is a leading Social Housing contractor with a proven track record in delivering £Multi-Million Decent Homes Refurbishment and Maintenance Contracts for Local Authorities within the London and South East region.

Main Purpose of the Role

The main purpose of the role is to assist the sustainability and operational teams in the identification and delivery of energy efficient, low carbon and sustainability works within the London & South East region.

Assisting project teams with the delivery of energy efficiency and micro generation works
Provide ongoing technical advice and support to project teams on the identification of new opportunities
Analysis of housing stock data to identify opportunities for energy efficiency works

Carry out technical research and maintain up to date knowledge on low carbon measures including appropriate technologies and government strategies (inc. Green Deal & associated initiatives)

Assist with the preparation of technical proposals to outline energy effiency solutions for clients

Assist with the submission of documents to energy supplier partners to ensure draw down of funding

Assist with the collation of relevant data and the preparation of reports to track the performance of energy efficiency schemes

Assist the Bid Team in the production of PQQ and tender submissions

Develop and maintain a library of appropriate case studies in support of the PQQ and tender submissions

Where appropriate, attend external events and represent the Client at exhibitions and conferences

Assist with the marketing & communications of the Client’s Sustainability Services

Key Knowledge and Experience

Educated to degree level or equivalent, and / or equivalent practical work experience

DEA or GDA Qualified (Green Deal Advisor & Domestic Energy Assessor)

Proven ability and experience of managing survey processes around housing refurbishment schemes

Proven ability to manage teams delivering against specific output objectives

High levels of process knowledge around ECO funding and Green DealSkills & Abilities

Strong Microsoft Word & Excel skills

Good analytical skills

Effective communication (written & verbal

Good at developing and maintain professional relationshipsApplications
