Salary: £26,000 per year
I am currently recruiting for the position of Scheduling Technician for a major FTSE 100 utilities company based in Birmingham Business Park. The role will be to plan and schedule planned maintenance work for our direct staff and contractors.
Responsibilities
* Prioritise and manage work queues, ensuring problems are resolved in the shortest possible time and to meet contractual requirements
* Schedule and issue work effectively for direct labour and contractors, maximizing resources and productive time
* Monitor job progress and take action to ensure timely completion
* Record feedback and action as appropriate
* Provide support to Field Staff
* Monitor Lone Working and adhere to lone working procedure
* Maintain accurate records, analyse reports and trends in work including repeat issues
* Build and maintain good working relationships with the client, Regional Managers, field staff, contractors and the wider business
About you
*Good time management skills
* Ability to prioritise own workload to deliver stakeholder requirements
* Excellent communication skills
* Excellent problem solving skills
* Strong background of planning and scheduling
* Proven ability of working as a team player in a customer facing team
* Excellent keyboard skills with high level of accurate data entry speed with good attention to detail
