Our client is one of the UK’s largest independent international courier companies who offer a wide range of services including same-day, technical courier and logistics.
Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Sameday Controller based in there MANCHESTER branch. This is a very exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join a nationwide operation at the spearhead of the organisation. The successful candidate will control the fleet of vehicles and sameday drivers, and maintain service levels, dispatching jobs to the drivers and liaise with customers on a daily basis ensuring a smooth and professional service is provided at all times. You will be reporting to the Commercial Manager.
To be the successful candidate for this exciting opportunity you will have a high level of experience gained from a same day courier background, you will be used to working in a fast paced environment and be extremely customer focused. You will have excellent communication and organisation skills. You will be able to work as part of a team as you will be working in a dual control operation and be able to work under your own initiative. You will also need to have a good geographical knowledge and experience working in a larger network
