Our client, one of the UK’s leading b2b media and online publishing groups has an exciting mix of leading brands, online portals and hundreds of international events delivering both information and advertising solutions to specific sectors. Due to growth, they now have an exciting opening for an experienced Sales Manager to lead a highly successful Central London based sales team to greater heights.

As a Sales Manager your primary task will be to lead a team of 8 executives. This classic operationally focussed Sales Manager role will cover all aspects from strategic planning to sales training, recruitment, budget presentations, high level reporting and much more. More specifically, you will own the monthly (and quarterly/yearly) sales target, work closely with senior management to ensure revenue targets are achieved, manage and coach direct reports to achieve individual and company sales targets and take overall responsibility for pricing of products and services. Applicants will need to be able to demonstrate a minimum of 4-5 years proven business to business sales experience, with 2+ years of true sales and budgetary management. Sector experience would be advantageous but not a prerequisite. You will have experience of dealing with senior management, be sophisticated and conceptual in your approach and possess exceptional communication and presentation skills. You will be educated to degree level, hungry, highly motivated and have a structured management approach that will contribute to the achievement of realistic team targets.

The successful candidate will be offered a base salary circa 45-50k with a realistic and highly achievable OTE of 63-70k plus additional benefits and expenses.
