Sales Manager – Capital Equipment

Elevation Sales are currently looking to appoint a Sales Manager for a South Yorkshire-based company operating in the metals industry. This business are currently expanding and promoting a new offering to the market therefore are looking for a new Sales Manager to offer fresh ideas and approach.

This role will take responsibility for a small number of direct reports and will be tasked with motivating and managing staff to ensure sales growth is achieved. You will introduce new sales techniques to deliver results as well as leading by example.

The role requires an experienced sales professional with their own demonstrable achievements in business development and account management on a UK and International basis. There will be circa 20% international travel so the right candidate will need to be flexible to travel as and when required.

You will play an active part in developing and rolling out new sales strategies in line with the wider business plan and so experience in this area is essential.
Due to the nature of the products and the current sales process the successful candidate must have the following skills and experience:

* HND or higher qualification in an Engineering discipline
* Experience of managing a small sales team is essential, candidates without this experience will not be considered
* Knowledge and experience of selling capital equipment, heavy engineering or after sales management would be highly advantageous
* Previous experience in developing sales strategies alongside the Senior management structure
* International sales experience is also essential
