Sales Manager

Sheridan Blake Executive Search and Selection are currently looking to recruit a Sales Manager (office based team) for our client based near Leeds.
This role is responsible for the building and management of a successful and professional office based sales team.
This will be achieved by the development of sales skills, product knowledge and effective sales and negotiating skills resulting in the delivery of agreed sales targets.
This will include the effective integration of the office based sales activity with the existing field based team which will require close communication between the office sales manager and the field based sales team.
In addition this role will support the regional delivery of the sales strategy and associated business plan to ensure that Sales Specialists and Office Based Sales achieve volume, financial and product mix objectives. The post-holder will work in liaison with the key stakeholders, ensuring that budgetary targets for the Region in terms of sales margins, cost of sales and debtor performance are achieved.
The ideal candidate will come from an agricultural/ ruminant background or fresh foods/ healthcare. You will also ideally have an in depth understanding of the fundamental drivers of the UK ruminant industries.
